With the win, Mt. Vernon upgrades its record to 34-4 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Wahlert (Dubuque, IA) to face the Golden Eagles in a non-league outing on Tuesday, October 31. The Golden Eagles go into the outing with a record of 15-8. Wahlert won 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against New Hampton (New Hampton, IA)
