The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the East Ascension Spartans (Gonzales, LA) and the host Episcopal Knights (Baton Rouge, LA), saw East Ascension's volleyball squad beat Episcopal by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, East Ascension upgrades its record to 25-16 on the year. The Spartans host Dutchtown (Geismar, LA) to play the Griffins in a Division I District 4 bout on Wednesday, October 25. The Griffins go into the bout with a record of 27-7. Dutchtown won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Zachary (Zachary, LA)

The Knights now own a 10-13 record. They play next when they travel to Woodlawn-B.R. for a non-league bout on Wednesday, October 25.
