In Tuesday's non-league battle, the host Stanley County Buffalos volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Jones County Coyotes.

The Buffalos (18-8) will now prepare for their battle against Cheyenne-Eagle Butte (Eagle Butte, SD). The Braves come into the A Region 6 battle with a 5-22 record. In their last battle, Cheyenne-Eagle Butte was edged by Lemmon (Lemmon, SD), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Coyotes clash with the Kadoka Kougars (Kadoka, SD) in a B Region 7 battle, on Tuesday, October 31. Jones County will attempt to advance on its 5-21 season record. The Kougars come into the battle with a 21-12 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Lakota Tech (Pine Ridge, SD).
