The Smyrna Eagles volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Polytech Panthers to 0 in the Eagles league victory on Tuesday.
The Eagles now have a 13-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wilmington Charter for a non-league game on Thursday, October 26. Smyrna will meet a Force team coming off a 3-0 league win over First State Military Academy (Clayton, DE). The Force record now stands at 10-5.
The Panthers (8-6) will now prepare for their game against Milford (Milford, DE). The Buccaneers enter the non-league game with a 4-9 record. In their last game, Milford dropped by Caesar Rodney (Camden, DE), 3-0, in a non-league game.
