The Waskom Wildcats (Waskom, TX) football trounced the host Big Sandy Wildcats (Big Sandy, TX), 55-16 in Thursday's league outing.

The Wildcats now sport a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Elysian Fields for a 2A-1 Region III District 10 outing on Friday, November 1. Waskom will clash with a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 49-42 league win over Ore City (Ore City, TX). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 6-2.

With the defeat, Big Sandy drops to 5-3 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Hawkins (Hawkins, TX) to clash with the Hawks in a 2A-1 Region III District 10 outing on Friday, November 1. The Hawks come into the outing with a record of 5-3. Hawkins lost 76-54 in their recent league outing against Beckville (Beckville, TX)
