Tennessee High School Football - Cane Ridge sneaks past McGavock

The Cane Ridge Ravens football squad scored 14 points and limited the host McGavock Raiders to 12 in the Ravens league triumph on Thursday.
The Ravens now hold a 2-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Smyrna for a 6A Region 5 test on Thursday, October 31. Cane Ridge will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 34-27 league loss to Antioch (Antioch, TN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-5.
With the defeat, McGavock drops to 2-8 on the campaign. The Raiders host Stewarts Creek (Smyrna, TN) to meet the Red Hawks in a 6A Region 5 test on Friday, November 1. The Red Hawks come into the test with a record of 8-1. Stewarts Creek won 42-6 in their recent league test against LaVergne (LaVergne, TN)
