The Cove Leopards football squad scored 44 points and limited the visiting Irrigon Knights to 6 in the Leopards non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Leopards now hold a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Powder Valley for a 1A Special District 2 (8 Man) test on Friday, November 1. Cove will meet a Badgers squad coming off a 36-26 league loss to Union (Union, OR). The Badgers record now stands at 4-3.

With the defeat, Irrigon drops to 2-6 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Stanfield (Stanfield, OR) to meet the Tigers in a 2A Special District 6 (9 Man) test on Friday, November 1. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 4-4. Stanfield won 30-28 in their recent league test against Enterprise (Enterprise, OR)
