The Mesa Ridge Grizzlies were victorious over the visiting Doherty Spartans football team by a score of 37-12 in Thursday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Grizzlies face the Falcon Falcons (Falcon, CO) in a 4A Soco 1 challenge, on Friday, November 1. Mesa Ridge will attempt to improve on its 6-3 season record. The Falcons enter the challenge with a 2-7 record after their 49-8 league loss to Pueblo West (Pueblo West, CO).
The Spartans (4-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Widefield (Colorado Springs, CO). The Gladiators enter the 4A Soco 1 challenge with a 0-9 record. In their last challenge, Widefield lost by Montrose (Montrose, CO), 63-7, in a league challenge.
