Granite Hills Eagles (El Cajon, CA) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Helix Highlanders (La Mesa, CA), 41-20 in a league battle.

With the win, Granite Hills improves its record to 4-1 on the season. The Eagles travel to Grossmont (El Cajon, CA) to play the Foothillers in a battle on Wednesday, October 30. The Foothillers go into the battle with a record of 8-1. Grossmont won 44-0 in their recent non-league battle against Bonita Vista (Chula Vista, CA)

The Highlanders now have a 3-5 record. They play next when they host Steele Canyon for a battle on Thursday, October 31. Helix will play a Cougars team coming off a 39-28 league loss to Grossmont (El Cajon, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 1-3.
