The West Springfield Spartans got by the visiting Lake Braddock Bruins football team by a score of 19-13 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Spartans play the Fairfax Lions (Fairfax, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 31. West Springfield will attempt to improve on its 4-2 season record. The Lions go into the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 22-21 non-league loss to Robinson (Fairfax, VA).
The Bruins (2-4) will now prepare for their challenge against South County (Lorton, VA). The Stallions go into the challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last challenge, South County nipped Woodson (Fairfax, VA), 49-0, in a league challenge.
