The Newton Rams flag football squad scored 21 points and limited the visiting Griffin Bears to 18 in the Rams non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Rams now hold a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they host Morgan County for a non-league test on Thursday, October 24. Newton will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 20-8 non-league loss to Cedar Shoals (Athens, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-3.
