Brevard Blue Devils (Brevard, NC) followers went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Hendersonville Bearcats (Hendersonville, NC), 40-14 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Brevard advances its record to 6-1 on the season. The Blue Devils travel to R-S Central (Rutherfordton, NC) to play the Hilltoppers in a non-league battle on Thursday, November 7. The Hilltoppers go into the battle with a record of 2-5.

The Bearcats now own a 0-6 record. They play next when they host Chase for a battle on Thursday, October 31. Hendersonville will play a Trojans team coming off a 42-6 non-league loss to Patton (Morganton, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 2-2.
