In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Salem Spartans football squad scored a decisive 63-7 victory over the Cave Spring Knights.
The Spartans (4-3) will now prepare for their match against Christiansburg (Christiansburg, VA). The Blue Demons enter the non-league match with a 1-6 record. In their last match, Christiansburg was routed by Patrick Henry (Roanoke, VA), 26-8, in a non-league match.
