In their next game, the Trojans face the Corinth Holders Pirates (Wendell, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, October 30. Garner will attempt to improve on its 6-2 season record. The Pirates enter the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 26-8 league loss to Southeast Raleigh (Raleigh, NC).

The Rams (7-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Clayton (Clayton, NC). The Comets enter the non-league challenge with a 5-3 record. In their last challenge, Clayton held off Willow Spring (Fuquay-Varina, NC), 48-8, in a non-league challenge.
