North Carolina High School Football - West Lincoln can't hold off East Burke

East Burke Cavaliers (Connelly Springs, NC) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team tip the visiting West Lincoln Rebels (Lincolnton, NC), 22-16 in a non-league battle.

With the win, East Burke improves its record to 2-5 on the season. The Cavaliers travel to West Caldwell (Lenoir, NC) to play the Warriors in a non-league battle on Thursday, October 31. The Warriors go into the battle with a record of 0-7. West Caldwell lost 40-22 in their recent non-league battle against Bandys (Catawba, NC)

The Rebels now have a 3-5 record. They play next when they host Lincolnton for a non-league battle on Thursday, October 31. West Lincoln will play a Wolves team coming off a 23-16 league win over Maiden (Maiden, NC). The Wolves record now stands at 4-5.
