Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Iota Bulldogs (Iota, LA) and the visiting Crowley Gent (Crowley, LA), observed Iota's volleyball team top Crowley by a count of 3-0.

The Bulldogs (23-5) will now prepare for their contest against Southside (Youngsville, LA). The Sharks enter the non-league contest with a 17-6 record. In their last contest, Southside notched a victory over Comeaux (Lafayette, LA), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Gent meet the Opelousas Tigers (Opelousas, LA) in a Division III District 2 contest, on Monday, October 28. Crowley will attempt to move on its 5-12 season record.
