Washington High School Volleyball - Jackson can't hold off Stanwood

In Thursday's non-league match, the Stanwood Spartans (Stanwood, WA) volleyball squad tipped the host Jackson Timberwolves (Mill Creek, WA), by a count of 3-2.

Next up, the Spartans battle the Marysville-Pilchuck Tomahawks (Marysville, WA) in a 2A/3A Wesco match, on Monday, October 28. Stanwood will attempt to move on its 9-4 season record. The Tomahawks enter the match with a 5-8 record after their 3-0 league win over Marysville Getchell (Marysville, WA).

The Timberwolves (14-8) will now prepare for their match against Arlington (Arlington, WA). The Eagles enter the 4A Wesco match with a 11-5 record. In their last match, Arlington held off Mariner (Everett, WA), 3-0, in a league match.
