The Riverdale Rebels topped the visiting John Ehret Patriots volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Thursday's league game.
Next up, the Rebels face the South Plaquemines Hurricanes (Buras, LA) in a non-league game, on Friday, October 25. Riverdale will attempt to advance on its 6-18 season record. The Hurricanes go into the game with a 6-9 record after their 3-0 league win over Fisher (Lafitte, LA).
The Patriots (19-11) will now prepare for their game against Chalmette (Chalmette, LA). The Owls go into the Division I District 8 game with a 14-17 record. In their last game, Chalmette gained a win over St. Martin's Episcopal (Metairie, LA), 3-2, in a non-league game.
