The Thatcher Eagles volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Sabino Sabercats to 0 in the Eagles league triumph on Thursday.

The Eagles now have a 9-20 record. They play next when they host Show Low for a non-league outing on Monday, October 28. Thatcher will play a Cougars team coming off a 3-0 league win over Alchesay (Whiteriver, AZ). The Cougars record now stands at 16-14.

With the loss, Sabino drops to 9-18 on the campaign. The Sabercats travel to Sahuaro (Tucson, AZ) to play the Cougars in a non-league outing on Wednesday, October 30. The Cougars come into the outing with a record of 12-17.
