Texas High School Football - Andrews prevails Big Spring

In Friday's league match, the visiting Andrews Mustangs football squad scored a good 28-20 triumph over the Big Spring Steers.

The Mustangs (3-5) will now prepare for their battle against Pecos (Pecos, TX). The Eagles go into the 4A-1 Region I District 3 battle with a 3-5 record. In their last match, Pecos was beaten by Lake View (San Angelo, TX), 42-14, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Steers meet the Lake View Chiefs/Maidens (San Angelo, TX) in a 4A-1 Region I District 3 match, on Friday, October 31. Big Spring will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The Chiefs/Maidens come into the match with a 6-2 record after their 42-14 league win over Pecos (Pecos, TX).
