North Carolina High School Football - Bandys holds off West Iredell

October 24, 2025: Catawba, NC 28609

The Bandys Trojans (Catawba, NC) football tipped the visiting West Iredell Warriors (Statesville, NC), 36-32 in Friday's league outing.

The Trojans now sport a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hickory for a Western Foothills 4A/5A outing on Friday, October 31. Bandys will clash with a Red Tornadoes squad coming off a 31-28 league win over East Lincoln (Denver, NC). The Red Tornadoes record now stands at 8-1.

With the defeat, West Iredell drops to 4-5 on the campaign. The Warriors host Bunker Hill (Claremont, NC) to battle the Bears in a Western Foothills 4A/5A game on Friday, October 31. The Bears enter the game with a record of 1-8. Bunker Hill lost 40-38 in their recent league game against North Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC)
