Alabama High School Football - Blount nips St. Paul's Episcopal

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Blount Leopards (Eight Mile, AL) and the visiting St. Paul's Episcopal Saints (Mobile, AL), witnessed Blount's football squad edge St. Paul's Episcopal by a tally of 34-28.

The Leopards (2-7) will now prepare for their contest against Theodore (Theodore, AL). The Bobcats enter the 6A Region 1 contest with a 6-3 record. In their last contest, Theodore was tipped by Saraland (Saraland, AL), 38-14, in a league bout.

The Saints now own a 5-4 record. They play next when they travel to Spanish Fort for a 6A Region 1 bout on Friday, October 31. St. Paul's Episcopal will encounter a Toros team coming off a 45-32 league loss to McGill-Toolen (Mobile, AL). The Toros record now stands at 4-5.
