California High School Football - Riverbank nudges Bret Harte

In Friday's league match, the host Riverbank Bruins football squad scored a close 21-14 victory over the Bret Harte Bullfrogs.

The Bruins (3-6) will now prepare for their match against River Islands (Lathrop, CA). The Riptide enter the Mother Lode League battle with a 3-6 record. In their last battle, River Islands nipped Millennium (Tracy, CA), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

The Bullfrogs now own a 2-7 record. They play next when they host Calaveras for a Mother Lode League battle on Friday, October 31. Bret Harte will play a Red Hawks team coming off a 42-12 league win over Linden (Linden, CA). The Red Hawks record now stands at 7-2.
