The Burns Bulldogs football team scored 48 points and restricted the host Highland Tech Rams to 0 in the Bulldogs league win on Friday.

In their next game, the Bulldogs face the Shelby Golden Lions (Shelby, NC) in a Southern Piedmont 2A/3A/4A challenge, on Friday, October 31. Burns will attempt to improve on its 6-3 season record. The Golden Lions go into the challenge with a 6-3 record after their 67-0 league win over Bessemer City (Bessemer City, NC).
