    • Arizona High School Football - West Point overwhelmed by Cactus

    The Cactus Cobras walloped the host West Point Dragons football team by a score of 48-0 in Friday's league challenge.

    In their next game, the Cobras face the Sunrise Mountain Mustangs (Peoria, AZ) in a 5A Northwest challenge, on Friday, October 31. Cactus will attempt to move on its 7-2 season record. The Mustangs come into the outing with a 5-4 record after their 33-21 league win over Apollo (Glendale, AZ).

    With the defeat, West Point drops to 2-7 on the campaign. The Dragons travel to Yuma Catholic (Yuma, AZ) to clash with the Shamrocks in a 5A Northwest outing on Friday, October 31. The Shamrocks come into the outing with a record of 5-4. Yuma Catholic won 46-7 in their recent league outing against Willow Canyon (Surprise, AZ)
