South Carolina High School Football - Spartanburg Christian Academy crushed by Calhoun Academy

Calhoun Academy Cavaliers (St. Matthews, SC) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the host Spartanburg Christian Academy Warriors (Spartanburg, SC), 42-8 in a league battle.

With the win, Calhoun Academy improves its record to 8-1 on the season. The Cavaliers host Clarendon Hall (Summerton, SC) to play the Saints in a SCISA 2A Region II battle on Friday, October 31. The Saints go into the battle with a record of 0-9. Clarendon Hall lost 48-0 in their recent league battle against Greenwood Christian (Greenwood, SC)

The Warriors now have a 2-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Greenwood Christian for a SCISA 2A Region II test on Friday, October 31. Spartanburg Christian Academy will meet a Hawks squad coming off a 48-0 league win over Clarendon Hall (Summerton, SC). The Hawks record now stands at 7-2.
