Texas High School Football - Carlisle thwarted by Frankston

Frankston Indians (Frankston, TX) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Carlisle Indians (Price, TX), 45-14 in a league battle.

With the win, Frankston improves its record to 8-0 on the season. The Indians travel to Cross Roads (Malakoff, TX) to play the Bobcats in a 2A-1 Region II District 8 battle on Friday, October 31. The Bobcats go into the battle with a record of 3-5. Cross Roads lost 24-0 in their recent league battle against Cayuga (Cayuga, TX)

Coming up next, the Indians meet the Mildred Eagles (Corsicana, TX) in a 2A-1 Region II District 8 match, on Friday, October 31. Carlisle will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record. The Eagles come into the match with a 6-2 record after their 37-13 league win over Kerens (Kerens, TX).
