Carrollwood Day Patriots (Tampa, FL) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Merritt Island Mustangs (Merritt Island, FL), 24-14 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Carrollwood Day advances its record to 8-0 on the season. The Patriots travel to Spanish River (Boca Raton, FL) to encounter the Sharks in a non-league battle on Friday, October 31. The Sharks go into the battle with a record of 6-3. Spanish River won 28-20 in their recent league battle against Boca Raton (Boca Raton, FL)

The Mustangs now own a 5-3 record. They play next when they travel to Viera for a non-league match on Friday, October 31. Merritt Island will confront a Hawks squad coming off a 24-7 league win over Melbourne (Melbourne, FL). The Hawks record now stands at 6-3.
