    • North Carolina High School Football - West Cabarrus nudges Central Cabarrus

    October 24, 2025: Concord, NC 28025

    In Friday's league match, the visiting West Cabarrus Wolverines football squad scored a close 42-38 victory over the Central Cabarrus Vikings.

    The Wolverines (5-4) will now prepare for their battle against A.L. Brown (Kannapolis, NC). The Wonders go into the Greater Metro (GMAC) 6A/7A battle with a 6-3 record. In their last battle, A.L. Brown nudged Cox Mill (Concord, NC), 47-21, in a league battle.

    The Vikings now own a 3-6 record. They play next when they travel to Harding University for a Greater Metro (GMAC) 6A/7A match on Thursday, October 30. Central Cabarrus will play a Rams team coming off a 24-14 league loss to Hickory Ridge (Harrisburg, NC). The Rams record now stands at 2-7.
