Louisiana High School Football - Riverside Academy trounces Central Catholic

In Friday's non-league match, the host Riverside Academy Rebels football squad scored a decisive 47-7 triumph over the Central Catholic Eagles.
The Rebels (8-1) will now prepare for their match against Varnado (Angie, LA). The Wildcats go into the 1A District 10 battle with a 1-6 record. In their last battle, Varnado was ripped by Central Private (Baker, LA), 24-6, in a non-league battle.
The Eagles now have a 3-5 record. They play next when they host Jeanerette for a 1A District 7 battle on Friday, October 31. Central Catholic will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 21-18 league loss to Covenant Christian Academy (Houma, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 7-1.
