Arkansas High School Football - Central toppled by Monticello

The Central Cougars football squad (West Helena, AR), was toppled 26-6 in Friday's league contest with the visiting Monticello Billies (Monticello, AR)

The Billies (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Crossett (Crossett, AR). The Eagles enter the 4A Region 8 contest with a 2-6 record. In their last contest, Crossett was toppled by DeWitt (DeWitt, AR), 12-6, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Cougars battle the Warren Lumberjacks (Warren, AR) in a 4A Region 8 bout, on Friday, October 31. Central will attempt to advance on its 4-4 season record. The Lumberjacks go into the bout with a 5-3 record after their 59-55 league loss to Stuttgart (Stuttgart, AR).
