The Clifton Cubs felled the host Tolar Rattlers football team by a score of 22-13 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Cubs face the Dublin Lions (Dublin, TX) in a 3A-2 Region II District 5 challenge, on Friday, October 31. Clifton will attempt to improve on its 6-2 season record. The Lions come into the test with a 1-7 record after their 57-7 league win over Eastland (Eastland, TX).

With the defeat, Tolar drops to 3-5 on the campaign. The Rattlers travel to Brady (Brady, TX) to meet the Bulldogs in a 3A-2 Region II District 5 test on Friday, October 31. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 6-2. Brady won 21-15 in their recent league test against Early (Early, TX)
