The Ravenwood Raptors walloped the visiting Coffee County Central Red Raiders football team by a score of 42-7 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Raptors face the Brentwood Bruins (Brentwood, TN) in a 6A Region 6 challenge, on Thursday, October 30. Ravenwood will attempt to improve on its 9-0 season record. The Bruins go into the challenge with a 6-3 record after their 16-14 league win over Independence (Thompson's Station, TN).
The Red Raiders (2-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Shelbyville Central (Shelbyville, TN). The Golden Eagles go into the 6A Region 6 challenge with a 4-5 record. In their last challenge, Shelbyville Central bounced Hendersonville (Hendersonville, TN), 42-31, in a non-league challenge.
