In Friday's non-league match, the visiting John Paul II Cardinals football squad scored a good 57-41 triumph over the Coram Deo Academy Lions.
The Cardinals (4-4) will now prepare for their match against Dallas Christian (Mesquite, TX). The Chargers come into the non-league match with a 5-3 record. In their last match, Dallas Christian defeated Covenant (Dallas, TX), 45-7, in a league match.
Coming up next, the Lions meet the Newman International Academy Warriors (Arlington, TX) in a non-league match, on Friday, October 31.
