    • Tennessee High School Football - Cosby thwarted by Hampton

    Hampton Bulldogs (Hampton, TN) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Cosby Eagles (Cosby, TN), 30-12 in a league battle.

    With the win, Hampton improves its record to 8-1 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Cloudland (Roan Mountain, TN) to play the Highlanders in a 1A Region 1 battle on Friday, October 31. The Highlanders go into the battle with a record of 5-4. Cloudland won 55-0 in their recent league match against Unaka (Elizabethton, TN)

    Coming up next, the Eagles meet the Jellico Blue Devils (Jellico, TN) in a 1A Region 1 match, on Thursday, October 30. Cosby will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record. The Blue Devils come into the match with a 4-5 record after their 37-14 league win over Hancock County (Sneedville, TN).
