The Weimar Wildcats (Weimar, TX) football trounced the visiting Danbury Panthers (Danbury, TX), 56-0 in Friday's league outing.
The Wildcats now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Flatonia for a 2A-1 Region IV District 15 game on Friday, October 31. Weimar will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 33-3 league loss to Kenedy (Kenedy, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-3.
The Panthers (3-5) will now prepare for their game against Schulenburg (Schulenburg, TX). The Shorthorns enter the 2A-1 Region IV District 15 outing with a 3-5 record. In their last outing, Schulenburg crushed Bloomington (Bloomington, TX), 41-0, in a league contest.
