The St. John Paul II Falcons football squad scored 42 points and limited the host Danville Hawks to 22 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Friday.
The Falcons now hold a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they host Plainview for a 4A Region 8 test on Thursday, October 30. St. John Paul II will meet a Bears squad coming off a 49-27 league win over Madison Academy (Madison, AL). The Bears record now stands at 9-0.
With the defeat, Danville drops to 2-7 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Central (Florence, AL) to meet the Wildcats in a 4A Region 7 test on Friday, October 31. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 4-5. Central lost 47-7 in their recent league challenge against Hatton (Town Creek, AL)
