Temple Tigers (Temple, GA) boosters were content Friday as they observed their football squad nudge the host Darlington Tigers (Rome, GA), 44-41 in a league match.

The Tigers (5-4) will now prepare for their match against Model (Rome, GA). The Blue Devils come into the A D1 Region 6 match with a 1-8 record. In their last match, Model was nudged by Heard County (Franklin, GA), 54-28, in a league match.

Next up, the Tigers play the Bremen Blue Devils (Bremen, GA) in a A D1 Region 6 battle, on Friday, October 31. Darlington will attempt to improve on its 3-6 season record. The Blue Devils go into the battle with a 4-5 record after their 34-26 league loss to Haralson County (Tallapoosa, GA).
