In Friday's league match, the visiting West Sabine Tigers football squad scored a good 56-27 triumph over the Evadale Rebels.
The Tigers (6-2) will now prepare for their match against West Hardin (Saratoga, TX). The Oilers come into the 2A-2 Region III District 12 match with a 2-5 record. In their last match, West Hardin was beaten by Deweyville (Deweyville, TX), 44-34, in a league match.
Coming up next, the Rebels confront the Colmesneil Bulldogs (Colmesneil, TX) in a 2A-2 Region III District 12 match, on Friday, October 31. Evadale will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The Bulldogs come into the match with a 2-5 record after their 40-15 league win over Hull-Daisetta (Daisetta, TX).
