Floyd County Buffaloes (Floyd, VA) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team tip the host James River Knights (Buchanan, VA), 28-21 in a league match.
The Buffaloes (7-1) will now prepare for their match against Radford (Radford, VA). The Bobcats come into the Three Rivers match with a 4-4 record. In their last match, Radford was nudged by Carroll County (Hillsville, VA), 49-34, in a league match.
Coming up next, the Knights confront the Patrick County Cougars (Stuart, VA) in a Three Rivers match, on Friday, October 31. James River will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record. The Cougars come into the match with a 3-6 record after their 56-6 league loss to Glenvar (Salem, VA).
