Kentucky High School Football - Garrard County nudges Mercer County

October 24, 2025: Harrodsburg, KY 40330

In Friday's league match, the visiting Garrard County Golden Lions football squad scored a close 13-12 victory over the Mercer County Titans.

The Golden Lions (5-3) will now prepare for their battle against Lincoln County (Stanford, KY). The Patriots go into the non-league battle with a 7-2 record. In their last battle, Lincoln County nudged Russell County (Russell Springs, KY), 35-12, in a league battle.

The Titans now own a 1-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to John Hardin for a non-league match on Friday, October 31. Mercer County will confront a Bulldogs squad coming off a 31-28 league loss to Elizabethtown (Elizabethtown, KY). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-4.
