Hughson Huskies (Hughson, CA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team tip the visiting Hilmar Yellowjackets (Hilmar, CA), 35-29 in a league battle.

With the win, Hughson improves its record to 8-2 on the season.

With the defeat, Hilmar drops to 5-4 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets travel to Ripon (Ripon, CA) to meet the Indians in a Trans Valley League test on Friday, October 31. The Indians come into the test with a record of 5-4. Ripon lost 35-28 in their recent league test against Escalon (Escalon, CA)
