The Middletown North Lions football team (Middletown, NJ), dropped 49-38 in Friday's non-league bout with the host Holmdel Hornets (Holmdel, NJ)

With the win, Holmdel advances its record to 6-2 on the season.

The Lions now own a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Middletown South for a Shore - A North contest on Thursday, November 27. Middletown North will battle a Eagles squad coming off a 17-14 league loss to Rumson-Fair Haven (Rumson, NJ). The Eagles record now stands at 3-5.
