The Ider Hornets football team (Ider, AL), was topped 41-18 in Friday's league bout with the host Ragland Purple Devils (Ragland, AL)

With the win, Ragland advances its record to 4-5 on the season. The Purple Devils host Decatur Heritage Christian Academy (Decatur, AL) to encounter the Eagles in a non-league bout on Friday, October 31. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 1-8. Decatur Heritage Christian Academy lost 49-0 in their recent league bout against Winston County (Double Springs, AL)

The Hornets now own a 1-8 record. They play next when they travel to Gaston for a non-league bout on Friday, October 31. Ider will confront a Bulldogs squad coming off a 44-28 league loss to Sand Rock (Leesburg, AL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-8.
