In Friday's league challenge, the host Jefferson Forest Cavaliers football team scored a tight 1-0 win over the Rustburg Red Devils.
In their next game, the Cavaliers play the Brookville Bees (Lynchburg, VA) in a Seminole challenge, on Friday, October 31. Jefferson Forest will attempt to improve on its 7-1 season record. The Bees go into the challenge with a 4-4 record after their 33-19 league loss to Liberty Christian (Lynchburg, VA).
The Red Devils (0-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Glass (Lynchburg, VA). The Hilltoppers go into the Seminole challenge with a 3-5 record. In their last challenge, Glass tipped Amherst County (Amherst, VA), 35-28, in a league test.
