The St. Paul's Crusaders edged the visiting John Carroll Patriots football team by a score of 21-14 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Crusaders face the Boys Latin Lakers (Baltimore, MD) in a MIAA B challenge, on Friday, October 31. St. Paul's will attempt to improve on its 7-1 season record. The Lakers enter the challenge with a 6-4 record after their 34-8 non-league win over St. John's Catholic Prep (Buckeystown, MD).
With the defeat, John Carroll drops to 5-4 on the campaign. The Patriots host Archbishop Curley (Baltimore, MD) to clash with the Friars in a non-league test on Friday, October 31. The Friars come into the test with a record of 3-6. Archbishop Curley lost 21-6 in their recent non-league test against Pallotti (Laurel, MD)
