California High School Football - La Quinta holds off Shadow Hills

The La Quinta Blackhawks (La Quinta, CA) football tipped the visiting Shadow Hills Knights (Indio, CA), 36-33 in Friday's league outing.

The Blackhawks now sport a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Palm Desert for a Desert Empire outing on Thursday, October 30. La Quinta will clash with a Aztecs squad coming off a 35-28 league win over Palm Springs (Palm Springs, CA). The Aztecs record now stands at 6-3.

With the defeat, Shadow Hills falls to 4-5 on the year. The Knights host Xavier Prep (Palm Desert, CA) to face the Saints in a Desert Empire game on Thursday, October 30. The Saints enter the game with a record of 6-3. Xavier Prep won 14-0 in their recent league game against Rancho Mirage (Rancho Mirage, CA)
