Mississippi High School Football - Laurel trounces North Pike

October 24, 2025: Summit, MS 39666

In Friday's league match, the visiting Laurel Golden Tornadoes football squad scored a decisive 39-0 victory over the North Pike Jaguars.

The Golden Tornadoes (2-6) will now prepare for their battle against Sumrall (Sumrall, MS). The Bobcats go into the 5A Region 3 battle with a 6-3 record. In their last battle, Sumrall walloped Natchez (Natchez, MS), 33-18, in a league battle.

The Jaguars now own a 1-7 record. They play next when they host Brookhaven for a 5A Region 3 battle on Friday, October 31. North Pike will play a Panthers team coming off a 42-24 league win over South Jones (Ellisville, MS). The Panthers record now stands at 6-2.
