Mohave Thunderbirds (Bullhead City, AZ) fans left the game content Friday as they observed their football squad crush the visiting Lee Williams Volunteers (Kingman, AZ), 53-2 in a league test.

The Thunderbirds now hold a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to La Joya Community for a non-league test on Friday, October 31. Mohave will face a Fighting Lobos team coming off a 34-14 league loss to Agua Fria (Avondale, AZ). The Fighting Lobos record now stands at 2-7.

The Volunteers (5-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Mingus (Cottonwood, AZ). The Marauders go into the 4A Grand Canyon challenge with a 0-9 record. In their last challenge, Mingus was ripped by Flagstaff (Flagstaff, AZ), 24-21, in a league challenge.
