In Friday's league match, the visiting Mitchell Marauders football squad scored a close 12-8 victory over the Lincoln Lancers.
The Marauders (1-7) will now prepare for their match against The Classical Academy (Colorado Springs, CO). The Titans enter the 2A Metro match with a 8-0 record. In their last match, The Classical Academy got by D'Evelyn (Denver, CO), 48-7, in a league battle.
The Lancers now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to Alameda for a 2A Metro battle on Thursday, October 30. Lincoln will play a Pirates team coming off a 59-6 league loss to Denver West (Denver, CO). The Pirates record now stands at 2-6.
